Santiago Ramón y Cajal
A lot of my recent work in imaging has been helping to photograph neuronal structure and recreate these forms for 3-dimensional study. This is obviously a major influence on my designs and many of the new pieces I’m creating are inspired by the kind of images being generated in my work through science. A big inspiration for my work is Santiago Ramón y Cajal, generally all round awesome human, who apart from blowing up the town gate at the age of 11 with a homemade canon, was responsible major works in neuroscience, including drawing and tracing out neuronal connections.
Below are some of his scientific illustrations.
